Hart Family - MINNESOTA

Thought I would send you a few pictures of Piper on her first duck hunt. Hunting is not very good yet but she was very good in the blind for her first true hunt. She has gone on a few grouse hunting trips too but again hunting hasn't been very good. She has proven to be a very good dog. She is also very good and gentle with the kids.

WILDRUMS CROCKET - AKA "TUCKER" - This picture was sent to me just one week after Tucker went home.

Before the Rapp family left with their new puppy, the girls gave me a hand-written letter - sealed
in an envelope. You should know, the girls were very excited and animated in every way. I was
instructed not to open the letter until they were gone. It was explained to me that the envelop
had been chewed up on one corner - by one of the puppies. I was feeling pretty good, at this
point, knowing Crocket was going to get lots of love and affection......

Dear Wildrum Kennels,
Thank you for saving a puppy for us! We have wanted one since our other dog "Betsy" died in December.
When we decided we wanted a Griffon, you were the best breeder we could find. When we found out you had
puppies available, we where overjoyed! Puppies are the best (and cutest) pets ever! Thanks again and we
hope your next litter is happy & healthy! Thanks again!

From,
The Rapp Family

It has been a long time since we have talked and I am happy to be sending you an update on Boone and some pictures.  He has been a wonderful addition to our family.  He is housetrained now so he is indoors with us.  He is a great family/hunting dog.  The kids adore him and the feeling is mutual from Boone.  I think his favorite thing is to go downstairs and wake them up for school.  They love all the kisses.

As for hunting, he is doing GREAT!  He has retrieved 5 grouse, 4 woodcock and 3 ducks for David.  They have been going pheasant hunting the past two weeks and have not come across any, yet.  David's dad flew out just to go hunting with Boone and was so impressed with how good he does in the woods, etc.  He listens very well to David, me and our oldest daughter.  He has certainly found his nose and that has been a true pleasure to watch.

Everyone that has met Boone has fallen in love with him.  We have so many people ask what kind of dog he is.  They all say how "human" looking his eyes are.  David and I took him up to Gooseberry Falls/Duluth this past August too.  Just the two of us and Boone.  He loved hiking the falls trails and swimming in Lake Superior.

BY LAND.......
AND BY SEA

Working with Ray was great experience. Communication
has been great, both before and after getting our alpha litter
female. Ray is a super guy who cares about the breed and
the dogs he raises. Having bought Griffons from other
(better known) breeders, I can safely say I would buy
another dog from Ray in a heartbeat.

KING - KENTUCKY
WILDRUMS BROCK - AKA "TIMBER"

I purchased Timber "started"
got last summer and we've gotten
through the bulk of his first season
on birds. He's been a remarkable
dog...

Ray did an awesome job getting
him ready and assisted me a ton
after the purchase dealing with any
of the questions / problems I had.
He will back his pups and you won't
be disappointed with the Griffon...

I've had several other breeds over
the years and finally found the
ideal hunting companion and family
dog.

Thanks Ray!!

WILDRUMS APRICOT - AKA "MORGAN"

Working with Ray was a great experience. Not only does he run a good operation but is a great guy to work with. He was there for advice and reassurance. With raising a puppy and a toddler she has been nothing but great. She isn't just a hunting dog she is part horse or at least thats what our boy thinks. If we every had to do it again I would work with Ray in a heartbeat. This breed is all it's cracked up to be from its gentle demeanor to all the affection. GREAT DOGS
